Valldal, Møre & Romsdal
Right in the heart of Norway´s famous fjordlands lays the valley Valldal, packed between the "Storfjorden" and "Trollstigen". Most people in the region knows Valldal as the Strawberry capital of Norway, with is ideal climate protected from the coast rain and the inland cold. This has made Valldal a popular destination for adventure and holiday seekers. Valldal is the capital of the commune of Norddal, with its five villages (Fjørå, Tafjord, Eidsdal, Norddal & Valldal), which in total has a population of 1667. Main occupation and income is farming, agriculture and tourism.
